The Sandy Catalano Scholarship Fund
How it's funded

The Sandy Catalano Scholarship is being funded several ways;

  • Donations from friends and family
  • Sponsors of The Sandy Catalano Open
  • Commissions from tournament entry fees

The monies being collected are being held in a Bank of America account. Once the tournament is completed, and all prize money distributed, all remaining funds will be transferred to an account run by the Long Island division of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). These funds will be held by the LIUSBC in an interest bearing account until the scholarships are redeemed.

It is the goal of the Catalano Family to distribute $5,000 annually in scholarships. If the funds collected exceed $5,000 the extra money will be held for future scholarship distribution.

If you would like to donate money to The Sandy Catalano Scholarship you may write a check to the name of the scholarship and send it to the Catalano Family. All donators will be listed on the website and at the tournament.

Please send all donations to;
